Italky.it is born

After a positive experience of the group ITALKY Z ČR A SR created as a forum on Facebook, the deputies of the group have decided to create the official website Italky.it that wants to introduce itself as a meeting point of the Czech and Slovak communities which reside in Italy.
This website is particularly dedicated to the collection of the experiences that any person has faced in order to reach an integration in the Italian society.

Beside the creation of an open community, we have previewed the creation of the private groups (one of these in particular classified to women and one to men) with an objective to unify the Czech and Slovak residents in Italy and therefore to contribute to the exchange of information, opinions and experiences.

The objectives of this website are:

• favor the relationships of the Czech and Slovak residents in Italy with the mother country by promoting various courses, seminaries, encounters, exhibitions, trips;
• be a mediator between the Czech and Slovak residents and the organizations and institutions who represent both countries in Italy;
• constitute a point of meeting and exchange of contacts and experiences between Czechs, Slovaks and Italians;
• promote useful initiatives to increase the acquaintance of the Czech and Slovak culture by organizing: conferences, lessons, seminaries, courses, exhibitions, conventions, debates, concerts, projections, shows, guided visits, excursions and tastings...;
• promote the organization of trips – individual and collective especially in occasion of national festivities and cultural events;
• cooperate with agencies, institutes and national and international organizations with similar purposes;
• sponsor the acquaintance of the Czech and Slovak language and the literature;
• promote every other suitable and useful initiative for the attainment of the scopes of the group.
